Placement

If a state law prohibits placing any non-governmental stickers on the windshield, Sticker #1 can be placed on the dashboard so it would still be visible to the driver from the inside and outside of the car.

If a state law prohibits placing any stickers on the back window, Sticker # 2 can be placed in the following locations, depending on the type of vehicle:
a) sedan-on the shelf between the back seat and the back window, so it is visible from the outside of the car;
b) minivan, SUV, or hatchback-on the inside of a non-movable side window that is furthest to the back of the vehicle and on the driver’s side, so it is visible to the driver upon exiting the vehicle.

If a state law prohibits stickers in certain areas of the back window or stickers above a specific size, Sticker #2 can be cut to the appropriate size by the driver and placed either at the bottom center of the back window or within the area of the back window specified by statute.
